Must-Haves for Your Natural Medicine Cabinet
One of my yearly housekeeping rituals is cleaning out and restocking my natural medicine cabinet. (not my supplement cabinet - that’s a whole different animal!) These are the simple staples and tools I have on hand for common minor ailments like a sore throat, a headache, an upset stomach, or congestion. I like to keep my medicine cabinet simple, intentional, and well-curated.
This post walks you through the key categories I recommend having on hand - along with my favorite products and brands I personally use and trust.
⭐️ ALL options below can either be found at Fullscript ¨or Rowe Casa Organics: You get a 20% discount at Fullscript using this link and 20% off your first order at Rowe Casa using this link.

Headache, Pain & Fever Support
Naturally addressing a headache (or pain) can be tricky because there are a lot of different causes, including:
Headache
dehydration or electrolyte imbalance
vascular constriction
stress or nervous system overload
hormone shifts
poor lymphatic drainage or toxin clearance
That said, here are some things to consider:
Sufficient hydration
Electrolytes
Peppermint essential oil blend (topical)
Homeopathic headache drops
Ginger-based remedies (like Relief from Rowe Casa)
Evening primrose oil for hormonal headaches
Sinus spray, nasal irrigation and lymphatic drainage for sinus-related headaches
Fever
Consider hydration, minerals, and rest before trying to suppress a low-grade fever which is part of the body’s mechanism for healing.
There are homeopathic options for addressing fevers.
Mild Stomach Discomfort
Bloating/Gas/Nausea
Ginger and peppermint are both good for addressing mild stomach ailments and the good news is they come in multiple forms like teas, capsules, tinctures and essential oil blends. Keep on hand whichever form you like best. Please keep in mind these may be a little too “hot” for someone with ulcers or reflux.Protocol For Life Peppermint Capsules with Ginger
Organic Peppermint Tea
Organic Ginger Root Tea
⭐️ Tip: If you’re relying on antacids regularly, that’s a sign to work with a practitioner.
Binder
Activated Charcoal
- Short-term only

- Work locally in the gutCellCore binders
- Can be used long-term

⭐️ Binders are such an incredible tool! I have two blog posts about them if you’d like to learn more:
Scrapes and Skin Healing
Gels, ointments and salves for cuts, burns, rashes, eczema
Arnica (bruises, muscle soreness - comes in topical and capsule form)
Rowe Casa BooBoo Cream (includes colloidal silver + essential oils)
Wise Woman Herbals salve (Fullscript)
Sovereign Silver first aid gel
Bonus Recovery Tools
Epsom salts or magnesium flakes (baths for aches, illness)
Portable red / near-infrared light (this one is my favorite because it can used directly on the skin - think cramps, muscle fatigue/soreness/sprains)
Nicotine patches: Something I now keep on hand after interviewing Dr. Bryan Ardis in this podcast episode. They can be used preventatively or acutely.
Final Thoughts
Your natural medicine cabinet doesn’t need to be complicated.
It just needs to be:
intentional
supportive
familiar
Build it slowly. Learn how to use what you have. And focus on supporting the body with gentle, natural options instead of harsh, forceful chemicals.
