351: Why I Eat Carbs On Purpose

I'm a nutritionist. And I eat bread, potatoes, chocolate chip cookies, and even Christmas crack. ON PURPOSE. ๐Ÿ˜‚

There was a time when I thought being a good nutritionist meant being really good at avoiding certain foods. But after years of teaching women about nutrition, I've realized that we don't need another diet teaching us how to eat perfectly for 30 days. We need to learn how to eat well for the rest of our lives.

In this episode, I'm talking about why carbohydrates aren't the enemy, why macronutrients shouldn't be a trend like hairstyles, and why food freedom doesn't mean a free-for-all.

We'll talk about metabolic flexibility, the power of our thoughts around food, and how to establish healthy boundaries that allow us to enjoy our favorite foods without guilt, shame, or feeling out of control.

Learning how to enjoy food without being controlled by it is a SKILL. And it's one worth developing!

If you're ready to put these principles into practice, join us for Feast 2 Fastยฎ, starting November 2. You can enjoy the holidays without abandoning your health goals. And you can practice self-control without making everything off-limits.
