I am SO EXCITED to have you on The Christian Health Club Podcast.
Here is the information you need to prepare and ensure that we have a great recroding!
Podcast Info
This will be an audio interview only. We have the opportunity to use the video during recording to see each other, but I usually have it on only to say hello and then turn it off to maximize recording bandwith. If you prefer to have it on during recording for better talking cues, that’s perfectly fine! Just let me know. 😊
I will send you questions at least 24-48 hours in advance of our recording so that you can be prepared to answer the topics we cover. I like to have some “bones in place” but PLEASE feel free to let the conversation flow organically and/or bring up topics you’d like to cover.
I always ask 2 “Anchor Questions” at the end of the podcast: What is your “anchor meal” (go-to healthy meal) and what is your “anchor verse” (favorite Bible verse or one that is presently speaking to you.). It is very important to me for you to have the opportunity to share God’s Word! 🙏❤️
Podcast Prep
Use a supported browser to record (either Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge). Please have this downloaded prior to recording.
Optimize the connection by closing other browser tabs and applications, as many as possible — especially any that also use the microphone or camera. Temporarily turn off any VPNs, browser extensions, content blockers, or firewalls.
Wear headphones to prevent echo and increase overall audio quality. (using ear pods is suitable)
Use an external microphone rather than your computer's built-in mic which picks up more noise. (using ear pods is suitable)
Troubleshooting Tech:Check our equipment guide suggestions for your specific mic, camera, or other input device.
Check our minimum system requirements.
Check and adjust your computer's microphone sensitivity.
Ensure a stable internet connection. You can test it here.
A wired connection using an Ethernet cable is more reliable than WiFi.
Time To Record

There will be a few screens to get through before you get to me. You will be prompted to check your sound details. Please make sure to indicate that you are wearing headphones.
Prevent echo by making sure that sound is coming into your headphones, not through your computer speakers (take your headphones out and make sure you can’t hear when I speak).
What to do if you mess up: No biggie! I have a great podcast editor! Simply pause for a few moments (3-5 seconds), take a deep breath, and start again. Giving a sufficient pause before restarting your thought allows my podcast editor to cut out the “mess-up” with ease.
Most importantly: enjoy recording and have fun! You are going to be such a blessing to my audience and I am SO GRATEFUL to have you on.
Once we are done recording, please leave the Riverside browser window open until you see Upload Complete or 100% Uploaded.
Post Recording
