2019 Healthy Holiday Gift Guide + Giveaway!

It’s time, y’all! Christmas is right around the corner and everyone is making their list and checking it twice. I thought I would share some tried ’n’ true favorites, new ideas, and what’s on MY wish list this year. Everyone who leaves a comment at the end of the post will be in the running to win a prize. I’m giving away some of my favorite things to make YOUR Christmas season a little more fun. Let me know what’s on your wish list this season and what you are buying for your loved ones. I love ideas too!

Kids

Little Weber Grill

One of the most fun presents my son ever received was a Little Weber grill. That’s him right there —>
grilling burgers for the family and he’s been doing it for years.

It may seem odd to send a little kid a real grill but it has been instrumental in getting the kids interested in outdoor cooking.

You could make an entire theme package around this with grilling utensils, cookbooks, and apron or chef’s hat. We’ve also given them for birthday presents. You can find them in stores or on Amazon here. Fun!

Raddish For Kids

Another great way to get the kids interested in cooking is a subscription to Raddish.

They love receiving the box in the mail and then tearing it open to discover the recipes and accessories we’ll be using that month! This is one of the things I ask the grandparents to get for them.

You can learn more about Raddish here.

The Jellies

These are super fun and flavorful lip glosses by Beautycounter. Think Lancome Juicy Tubes minus the icky ingredients. The set comes in five yummy flavors: butterscotch, raspberry, orange creme, peppermint and sorbet.

My daughter asked for a set and I’m giving them to my nieces for Christmas. Also a great girlfriend, co-worker or hostess gift. It’s the thing grown-ups want but don’t buy for themselves!

Surprise all the gals in your life with these fun, non-toxic lip glosses.

Just Relax Boo!

I keep these lavender flax-filled packs in the freezer in case of boo boo emergency. They are also good for headaches.

You can heat them up in the microwave and use them for hand warmers too. So versatile and they come in the cutest patterns! They make great stocking stuffers!

Kitchen

Cookie Scoop Set

My son uses these weekly to make his favorite after-school snack: Oatmeal Monster Balls (we use Enjoy Life chocolate chips and leave out the M&Ms). You could make a gift set with the monster ball recipe, ingredients and the cookie scoopers!

I use them regularly when I make cookies or meatballs. It dispenses the perfect round ball without the mess. A good gift for the cook in your life! Get here on Amazon.

Ceramic Pans

If you haven’t switched out of your toxic teflon coated pans, make this your year. You don’t want chemicals leaching into your food as you cook it.

Stainless steel and cast iron are also great options but a little more high maintenance. Ceramic pans are non-stick and easy to clean. Start with one or get the set. You can find them on Amazon here.

Cook Once, Eat All Week

This cookbook is GREAT for planning easy, healthy family meals.

Very popular in The Christian Health Club!

Clean Living

Beautycounter Holiday Gift Sets

There are 19 new sets this year! Eight of them are under $40. ALL of them are under $100. It’s a great time to switch to cleaner skin care and makeup. Your skin is your largest organ and soaks up everything you put on it: the good and the bad!

There are new products, new shades and limited editions. So many fun options. Two of my favorites are the Glow and Go Mini Oils (at right) and the Jellies (above). See them all here.

Branch Basics

Is it weird to give or ask for cleaning supplies for Christmas? LOL

I love practical gifts and if you’re trying to clean up your lifestyle in 2020 then the Branch Basics starter kit is the way to go.

Get $10 off your first order when you use this link.

Christmas Spirit Essential Oil

All the feels and smells of the season without the toxic fumes (ahem, most candles). This is a favorite EVERY year! At a wholesale price of only $10.50, stock up for you and your friends! Go to the Young Living site here.

I still love my lantern diffuser too- it looks like a piece of home decor.

Upgraded Health

Shaker (Vibration Plate)

Shake it up sister! Vibration plates help stimulate lymphatic flow, circulation, metabolism, digestion and bone density. Simply stand on it for 10 minutes while you check your phone or watch television. This makes a great present for grandparents who need help getting some movement. They can sit on a chair with their legs on the plate to promote circulation. You can get one on Amazon here.

This is SUCH an easy way to improve health! You can learn more about the shaker’s health benefits in this blogpost.

Joovv

Oh Joovv, how I love thee, let me count the ways: improved skin, energy, muscle and joint recovery, athletic performance and hormonal balance.

10 minutes a day goes a long way toward boosting your long-term health!

It’s expensive but a great investment. Good for the whole family. Let me know if you have questions; I can share my experience or you can check out the blogpost I wrote about it a while back. I appreciate you using my link to purchase!

(They also have the new Joovv mini which is a smaller, more economical option!)

Books

Esther: Royal Beauty

Taste & See

Obedience Over Hustle

Love this foodie book with Biblical roots!

I love learning more about Biblical people in such an entertaining way. This book is a great peek into the historical time of Queen Esther.

This book will encourage you to slow down and listen to what God is calling you to do.

On my Wish List

Blue Blocker Glasses

I’m finally getting on board with these glasses to help mitigate the blue light from my phone in the evenings. When I get into bed, I do one last check of social media and emails before I read a book and go to sleep. The blue light from tv screens, iPads, phones and even light bulbs at night interferes with melatonin production, detoxification and overall brain health. I plan to incorporate these into my evening routine. You can find on Amazon here.

Boundless by Ben Greenfield

I love Ben’s podcast. He’s always on the cutting edge of nutrition, fitness and supplements. I can’t wait to dig into this tome!

Visit this link to pre-order- the book releases January 21, 2020 and will arrive a few days later, for a perfect surprise post-Christmas gift! Also a great way to spend your Amazon gift card!

Rothy’s Chelsea Boot in Wildcat

I have two pair of Rothy’s flats that I love. I appreciate how they are made with eco-friendly materials and super cute to boot! I want these for an easy and hip on-the-go slip on shoe.. Go to Rothy’s to see all of the colors and prints they have to offer.

Hello! Skinny GreenJeans

These have been my favorite pair of jeans for eight years and they finally got a hole in them (not in a fashionable spot!). They are SUPER flattering and my go-to jeans for all occasions. If you see me in a photo in jeans, it’s almost surely these. I’ve worn them in countless family Christmas photos! Time for a new pair! See them here.

So what do you think? What do you like and what’s on your list this year? Make sure to comment below for a chance to win something fun from me (Be sure to enter by December 7th at 11:59 Central Time! The drawing is December 8th). I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!
