Christmas Crack

This is one of my family's most favorite Christmas treats. 🎁 I only make it at this time of the year because it's deliciously addictive. Consider yourself warned! It makes a great gift all wrapped up in a pretty Christmas tin. This recipe is one I've been asked to share over and over. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 column saltine crackers

  • 2 sticks butter

  • 1 cup light brown sugar

  • 12 oz chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400

  2. Layer saltines on foil line 15x10 pan. Boil butter and sugar for 3 minutes.

  3. Pour or spoon mixture over saltines.

  4. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes., watching carefully.

  5. Remove from oven and carefully spread the chocolate over the crackers while they're still hot. I like to do it while the pan is on the open oven door so that the heat helps melt the chocolate faster.

  6. Cool in refrigerator.

  7. Break into pieces and enjoy!

Hope you enjoy this recipe!

xoxo,
